Floors for Luxury Homes Industrial Shops Airplane Hangars Garages Showrooms Commercial Kitchens Offices Retail Restaurants
Sealed concrete offers versatile finishes that enhance natural tones and add a clean, modern look. From matte to gloss and tintable sealers, it brings style and protection in one seamless layer.
Expertise everywhere
Industrial
Sealed concrete is ideal for industrial environments like warehouses, factories, and air hangars. Most industrial clients need to know that concrete can handle forklifts, machinery, and constant wear without losing performance. We recommend higher grit finishes for durability and slip-resistant treatments where needed.
Residential
Homeowners love sealed concrete for its clean, modern look and low maintenance. It works well in kitchens, basements, and garages. Most residential clients want beauty and functionality without hassle. We recommend a matte or satin finish for a warm, natural appearance and sealing to protect against spills and wear.
Commercial
In showrooms, restaurants, and retail stores, sealed concrete provides a sleek and professional look that enhances your brand image. It’s easy to clean, reflects light well, and holds up to daily foot traffic. Most commercial owners care about aesthetics and longevity. We recommend a mid- to high-gloss finish to highlight the space and densifier applications to prevent stains and scratches.

Concrete Polishing Services for General Contractors
New Construction or New Concrete Slabs
We recommend a 3500psi / 5 sack concrete mix design or greater when deciding to pour and polish a new concrete slab. Commercial slabs are 4500psi generally and you can see the difference in their strength, surface tension and polished beauty.
FloorRescue also offers the Silicrete System from BC Decorative Concrete Supply for new concrete pours that want a nice salt & pepper honed concrete or polished concrete floor.

Seamless Polished Concrete Cement Toppings
When a new seamless look or more controlled look is needed, or the existing concrete slab isn’t suitable to be polished, polishable overlays or self-leveling cement toppings give us opportunity for a new design. These give the client a completely new choice of flooring as all things can be controlled, including color, aggregate, depth, etc.

Polished Concrete Floors with Color or Dye
The strength in a polished concrete floor comes from the penetrating hardener (densifier) and the refinement process. This floor was polished high and hardened twice as well as color dye applied to complete a beautiful looking and industrial performing concrete floor.
Originally two separate retail spaces converted into one. Tile and moisture guard removed, floors ground, and multiple concrete repairs made.

Commercial Floors, Residential Remodels and Older Concrete Slabs
When polishing older concrete or a concrete slab that’s previously been covered with flooring, its very rare that the process doesn’t begin with an aggressive grinding approach. The cream look is removed and aggregate begins to be exposed. The reason is simple, surface issues and contaminants must be removed first as well as exposing consistently clean and smooth porous concrete before and approach may begin.

LEED Friendly + Green
Sealed concrete floors are an environmentally responsible choice, offering durability without compromising indoor air quality. Many modern sealers are formulated to be low (even zero!) in volatile organic compounds (VOCs), ensuring a healthier indoor environment. Additionally, the application of sealed concrete can contribute to achieving Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification.
Hypo-Allergenic + Safe
Sealed concrete does not retain dust, mold, mildew, or allergies, ensuring a completely allergen-free surface that is safer for teams, families, and facility surroundings.
